The Advanced Laparoscopic Nephrectomy workshop is an annual event held since 2018. This yearly iteration has trained many residents (local and regional) to become competent laparoscopic surgeons who have moved on to perform complex laparoscopic surgeries and become our faculty member.
This workshop is unique and well received because 75% of the course duration is focused on high quality hands-on experience under the direct guidance of an experienced laparoscopic surgeon, allowing the participant to understand the techniques of partial nephrectomy, focusing on selective clamping, use of ICG, tumour resection and renorrhaphy.
All participants will be given adequate hands-on session with porcine model to ensure their learning opportunities will be enhanced and maximized.
We welcome you to join us and learn from the experts.
