Prof Foo Keong Tatt:
A Special Tribute on Scientific Achievements

Professor Foo Keong Tatt - the founding father of SGH Urology, and beloved mentor to many of us Urologists. In line with his 85th birthday this year, we aim to celebrate him not only as a remarkable individual, but his stellar academic achievements as well, as one of the top 2% most-cited clinician-scientists in the world.


We look through the many illustrious years of his academic career, and not only embark on a journey through the early years of urology research in Singapore, but highlight key studies of significance, including the staging system for BPH and key papers on intravesical prostatic protrusion.
