It is a pleasure to welcome you to the 3rd SGH Urology Robotic Surgery Masterclass! The robotic surgical landscape continues to gain exciting momentum amidst an explosion of surgical robotic platforms that are rapidly transforming the way we operate and care for our patients.
The 3rd installation of this masterclass continues our commitment to covering a wide spectrum of topics in robotic urology. The programme ranges from instructional lectures designed for surgeons beginning their robotic journey, to discussions on the latest innovations such as single-port surgery and the evolving interface between robotic oncology and robotic reconstructive urology.
As one of the highlights for this year, we also aim to address the real-world challenges we encounter in day-to-day oncological care. These include managing significant radiation-related complications, as well as navigating difficult clinical scenarios such as unexpected pT3a upstaging following robotic partial nephrectomy.
Beyond surgical techniques, we also dedicate time to education and training through our recurring Empower, Educate and Elevate (E3) Forum, where we explore insights on systemic adoption of a robotic surgery programme and mentoring and surgeon resilience.
With this breadth of topics, we hope the programme offers something meaningful for everyone — from trainees to experienced robotic surgeons — and provides opportunities to learn, exchange ideas, and push the boundaries of what robotic surgery can achieve.
I hope you will enjoy the programme we have prepared, and I look forward to an engaging time of academic exchange and friendship.
Hope to see you soon at UroWeek 2026!
