Welcome to SGH Urology Week 2026

Dear colleagues and friends,

It is my great pleasure to welcome you to SGH Urology Week 2026 — our annual celebration of learning, collaboration, and friendship, taking place in October.

This year’s Urology Week holds special significance as we celebrate the Lifetime Achievement of Professor Foo Keong Tatt for his pioneering contributions to benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) research and treatment. In tribute to his legacy, our 2026 theme focuses on BPH – from Evaluation to Innovation, featuring a dedicated symposium and workshop on contemporary BPH assessment, the latest advances in Minimally Invasive Surgical Therapies (MIST), and evolving approaches to BPH care.

As always, we have an exciting line-up of programmes that reflect the breadth and depth of our specialty - from the Laparoscopic Workshop and Robotic Surgery Masterclass, to updates in Endourology, and educational sessions for family physicians, trainees, nurses, and the public, underscoring our commitment to holistic urological education and outreach.

We will round off the week with the SGH Urology Annual Dinner and Lecture, a time to celebrate our shared achievements and friendships - and to look ahead together toward new frontiers in urology.

I warmly welcome you to be part of this meaningful journey and look forward to an inspiring and memorable week together.

Welcome to SGH Urology Week 2026!
